Two days after massive rescue operation was launched in river Chenab, the bus carrying three passengers that rolled into Chenab in Doda district was found today but all three passengers continue to remain missing.
An official told news agency , that joint rescue teams including Chenab rescuers led by Mushtaq Sheikh, Thathri Police team led by SHO Thathri Javed Iqbal and SDRF team today found the truck at Premnagar Thathri of Doda district.
He further said, "FIR number 23/2021 u/s 279/304 -A IPC registered at Police Station Thathri and search operation for tracing bodies is still going on by the Police, Chenab rescuers and SDRF teams."
The three persons who were travelling in the bus identified as Rooni Kumar S/o Kailash Kumar R/o Thakrai, Kishtwar, Vikram Singh S/o Kartar Singh R/o Thakrai, Kishtwar and Ankush Singh S/o Rattan Krishan R/o Zalna Kishtwar are still missing. The truck bearing registration number JK02CL 9349 was on the way from Jammu to Kishtwar
